Dear Graduate Program Directors and Coordinators,

As executive sponsors of the Graduate Admissions to Slate project, we are writing to stress the urgent need for your program’s immediate action. Our ability to launch graduate applications in Slate by the September 15 deadline depends on every program providing its application content and customization details without delay.

At this time, few programs have submitted their materials (many thanks to those who have provided materials). With only 16 business days remaining, every day is critical. If your program does not provide its information promptly, your applications will not be available in Slate, and students will not be able to apply to your program.

To prevent this outcome, we are asking you, please:

  • Submit your program’s application content and customization details immediately. These should be submitted utilizing your slate portal.
  • Treat this as your top priority until completed.

Support is available: Katie Scott from Graduate Admissions will schedule multiple open office hour blocks next week to answer questions and provide assistance. Please take advantage of this resource if needed.

We cannot overstate how important this work is. Graduate program applications and student enrollments depend on your timely response. Thank you for making this your immediate focus and for your partnership in ensuring a successful launch of Slate for graduate admissions.

Best regards,

Alix Gitelman, Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs

Nechell Bonds, Vice Provost for Enrollment Management
