Fulbright grants are for research, teaching, project or course work in any eligible country. Each participating country has varying criteria and emphases.
You may apply for a Fulbright before completing your bachelor's degree, but you must have your degree before the grant period begins. You do NOT need to be pursuing a master's or PhD to receive the grant.
All applications of students currently enrolled at Oregon State must go through the Campus Fulbright Program Adviser (FPA). The FPA will advise students on the program specifics and guide them through the Fulbright application process.
US citizen at the time of application
Bachelor's degree by the beginning date of the grant. Applicants may not hold a doctoral degree at the time of application.
Preference given to applicants whose higher education was received primarily at a U.S. Institution. Undergraduate study abroad is not considered disqualifying
Sufficient language proficiency to carry out the proposed project
