Born and raised in Alaska, Patrick Moore has a B.A. in History with a minor in Asian Studies from Gonzaga University, and an M.A. in History from Villanova University. Patrick studied abroad at Sophia University in Tokyo during his junior year. After graduation, he taught English to Japanese Middle School, Elementary School, and Kindergarten students in Usuki City, Oita Prefecture, in rural Kyushu. Prior to joining OSU, Patrick worked as a Study Abroad Advisor at Texas A&M University, and as the Education Abroad Coordinator at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Patrick’s passion is helping students access and plan their own international opportunities, especially meaningful long-term programs that go beyond surface level experiences and travel.
